An incredible source of information for any parent or parent-to be in San Francisco. For $75 per year, you’ll have access to a super useful forum, an event calendar and will get opportunities to meet moms in your neighborhood.
A free, super active and friendly group. Created for the moms of Haight Ashbury, it’s open to all. The very enthusiastic founder Vanessa organises plenty pf activities : weekly meetup, music classes and more to come.
Swim Classes: Janet Pomeroy Center
The best thing about Janet Pomeroy Center is their flexibility. They offer tens of three to four classes per day and don’t really care which one you go to once you paid. Pretty convenient when you have to deal with nap avoidance or a moody bébé.
Music Classes: SF Music Together.
On the pricey side, it is a very well designed program. During 45 mins the teacher alternates playing an instrument, singing, dancing, and gives bébé plenty of hands on opportunities.
Hook up with your neighborhood library. They all offer baby and toddler story time, often coupled with a playtime. Free. For time and location, see the calendar page on SF Public Library website.
